The African Canadian Civic Engagement Council (ACCEC) is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the Timbuktu Innovation Hub in August 2025! Inspired by the historic city of Timbuktu – an ancient beacon of learning, culture, and commerce in Africa – our Hub is a modern reinterpretation of this legacy. We are building more than just a physical space; we are cultivating a vibrant ecosystem in Edmonton dedicated to empowering African-descent communities through advocacy, direct services, and innovation.
The Timbuktu Innovation Hub will be an Afrocentric, safe, and inviting environment where Canadian youth and professionals of African descent can innovate, think differently, and turn their ideas into reality.
